Kingfisher Capital has purchased the assets of the Charlotte office of WealthTrust Advisors.
Charlotte-based Kingfisher Capital is an investment adviser to individuals and institutions. The firm was formed this year by its managing partners, H.K. Hallett and Alex Miles, who previously were managing directors at WealthTrust’s local office.
Financial terms of the acquisition weren’t disclosed.
WealthTrust is an investment-advisory firm with offices in Charlotte and Paducah, Ky.
As part of the transaction, Kingfisher Capital has retained key employees of the Charlotte office.
